Short Handed Approach To Veterans?

It was clearly obvious that he did not want to be there, and having to show that he did what he said he did back in January of this year, and of the “$6 million dollars” in pledged donations that was “cracked.”  But to find out that this was not reached, and telling to those questioning the contributions, “Why should I give you records?” and after almost half a year later makes that declaration come across as nothing short of a lie.  In fact, that The_Donald came up short of what was proclaimed angered him even more in having to admit to it.  And of course, the conference itself became nothing more than a vitriolic exchange directed at the press and him, and where a broadcast correspondent was heard to have noted that he spent the longest on the gorilla that was killed in Texas, when questioned, than all the other questions he responded to.

What was amusing, if not entertaining was the manner in which he was able to evade, or even dodge the questioning by the press corp, and to the point of obfuscating the point that he was supposed to respond to. The_Donald more often than not went on to tangents over the press, including Democrat presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, in an unconvincing play-on-words, and just short of a Kabuki-theatre performance on methamphetamines. Yet, and if anything was accomplished and clearly understood was that when he dodged the Fox News network debate earlier this year, and with the excuse of having raised contributions for veterans; then claiming that he had reached some pulled-out-of-his-arse of a figure, of “$6 million” as some sort of crowning achievement, it now rings like nothing more than a prevarication;  A harmless ‘white lie.’

Now the thought of if The_Donald has ever donated anything in the past to veterans comes into question, and in this “vetting” of him, may show in his tax returns his “love” and “commitment” to veterans.  But, will this happen?  Will he be the only presidential candidate in the history of this sort of routine, and un-official disclosure not to do so?  Since he is so “smart,” and “brilliant?”  Not to say that it’ll sink his candidacy, but … who knows whom he can convince to vote for him by not doing so.

In all it was a circus.  Yet another opportunity for The_Donald to demonstrate before the voters and the electorate just how wild and bombastic, and short on temper he can be.  It gives an illuminating glimpse of how irrationally unhinged he can become … and now declaring some pseudo psycho war on the press?

On the other hand it appears he really has a handle on his campaign (however short) and that this is nothing compared to what is in store in the coming weeks, and months before the election, or even the Republican Convention in Cleveland, and that this cavalcade of entertainment in pageant-political-RealityTV from him will go down in American history as one that will long be remembered as the #trumptrain wreck of a presidential campaign candidate’s press conference?
