Who Is “Q”

A rainbow colored unicorn? .. A leprechaun who lives in the woods hiding a pot of gold? .. Or a troll under a bridge whose pet is the Loch Ness monster? Does the so-called leader of the now deemed domestic terrorist group known as QAnon even exist? Is this now known group of incels, racists, bigots and white supremacists worshiping and adoring something, or someone that is not tangible, or even sane?

Obviously, for all intents and purposes it isn’t; rational. Like believing in the Tooth Fairy, or even Santa Claus incarnate, these delusional folk appear to have this overwhelming desire to believe in something – but that is another matter altogether. But what is, or who is “Q?”

‘Legend’ has it:

QAnon is a disproven and discredited far-right conspiracy theory alleging that a secret cabal of Satan-worshipping, cannibalistic pedophiles is running a global child sex-trafficking ring and plotting against former U.S. president Donald Trump, who has been fighting the cabal of globalists, liberals and those of an imagined “New World Order…”

.. Crazy, huh? There is also this belief that “Q” (him or herself) is ‘actually a federal employee’ secretly working within the U.S. government and providing these QAnon terrorist intelligence and information .. But, who remembers the insane 2016 election campaign conspiracy bullshit known as Pizza-gate? .. Are we getting a clear picture here now?

Obviously with the defeat of Donald J. Trump in the 2020 election and his hell bent and criminal intent to overthrow an election by disenfranchising voters, if not attempting to create votes for himself, he eventually was left with one Trump-card to play. Those he told to “stand back and stand by,” … until January 6 when his fomented, or even contrived army (as Donald Trump, Jr. most likely in innuendo termed them in past social media post) was unleashed by him resulting in the insurrection turned deadly terrorist attack on the U.S. Capitol, which by some accounts Trump ‘enjoyed.’

But this still really doesn’t answer the question as to who is “Q?” It appears that “Q” only exists in the minds of those true-believers who really, really believe he/she does exists .. and one that may be a ‘shape shifter,’ and who is now Donald Trump? Because for all intents and purposes the attack on the U.S. Capitol has exposed from who these people are, and in alliance with another group called the Proud Boys, as well as neo-Nazi fascists, white supremacists and garden variety kooks.

But what is germane to all of this .. this mental disorder involving a cult of personality, in Trump is that it has permeated government and Congress itself. The recent stripping of Georgia congressional representative Majorie Taylor Green of appointed committees and for her QAnon bent wildly baseless conspiratorial rants, past and present is indicative of this – the last straw in this form of censure was threatening other congressional colleagues with violence and death.

Perhaps “Q” is just a figment of some crazy imagination which has now taken hold of a major U.S. political party. Perhaps in the last vote to remove (or even absolve) Greene, from the committees, and in the upcoming Senate impeachment trial of Donald Trump will we now be able to affix a “Q” instead of an “R” in their political party affiliation and title and that the Republican party can now be the “GQP” or “RepubliQan” party .. so, “party on, Garth.”
