On The Eve Of Impeachment

U.S. Congress Judiciary committee investigating Donald Trump turned into a facts vs. filibuster, by Republicans who wanted to turn the hearing into a Trump shit-show and circus.

The most notable, if not repugant exhibition of non-decorum was by the Judiciary Committee minority leader Rep. Doug Collins who in cross examination with Democrat counsel David Goldman was the height of reprehensible if not altogether irresponsible behavior; asking one leading, red-herring of questions after another and without allowing Goldman to reply. As well as sinking to casting personal aspersions and insult at Goldman, with another, Republican Rep. Matt Gaetz interrupting and coming into the fray behaving like a batshit partisan zealot.

To this point it appears that the Democrats are prepared to put to a vote Articles of Impeachment against Trump in the morning and coupled with the release of the IG report yesterday stating that there was no wrongdoing by the FBI and intelligence in the investigation of Trump-Russia, the Republicans are now hard pressed to come up will additional conspiracies.

There is speculation that the Articles may include a portion(s) of the Mueller report, however it is not certain at this time if the Democrat caucus has agreed or come to consensus on this.

It is going to be a moment in history tomorrow when Donald J. Trump will be 4th sitting president in the history of the United States to be impeached ..
